William lawton

William J Lawton Jr, 85 of Oxford. Passed away on August 2, 2020. William was born in Oxford, NY in 1935, son of the late William Lawton Sr. and Grace Moore. William was predeceased by his brothers Carl, Paul, Lawrence, Linn, Robert, and Francis.
William is survived by his sister in laws Bobbie and Barbara Lawton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
William graduated from Oxford Academy and Central Schools in 1954. Right out of high school he went on to serve in the Army where is was stationed in France until 1957. After returning home from the military William went on to work at GE Aviation for many years and later continued working as a farmer, logging, and in the sawmills. William loved to hunt and fish. He loved camping with his family and was know as an amazing cook.
