Virginia M Lewis

Virginia M. Lewis, 70, of Sherburne, NY. Passed away peacefully at the Vet's Home on November 10, 2023. Virginia was born in Los Angeles CA, daughter of the late Lee and Amy (Wong) Fong. Virginia is survived by her children Lisa and Michael Kelly, Charles Lewis, and Michael and Katie Lewis. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Mikayla and Ella Kelly, and Myles and Gemma Lewis. Virginia is also survived by her siblings Diana and Wai Pang, Stan and Nora Fong, William and Lisa Fong, and her cousin Gerlene Chinn. Virginia also leaves behind her beloved cat, Marcy. Virginia loved her family and enjoyed catching up with them, especially after retirement. She often enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren--teaching her granddaughters how to play piano and enjoying the outdoors. She enjoyed many activities, including reading, hiking, crocheting, and gardening. Virginia was always willing to try something new, especially if it involved time with her family. She loved good food and could never pass up ice cream and dim sum. Virginia was a nurse and worked at the NYS Veterans Home of Oxford. She was also a US Air Force Veteran. She was long-time member at Calvary Baptist Church in Norwich. She was a kind and humble woman, and her presence will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc., Oxford, NY. Friends and family may call at the Calvary Baptist Church, 75 Calvary Drive, Norwich, NY 13815 on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 3:00PM-4:00PM.
