Tina M. Spyratos

Tina M. Spyratos, 54, of Oxford, NY passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Tina was born in Johnson City, NY on May 22, 1971, to Joseph and Mildred (Walker) Rusnak. She was predeceased by her mother-in-law Sara Spyratos and by her brother-in-law Billy Spyratos.

Tina is survived by her loving husband Jerry “Dut” Spyratos and by her children Spyros Spyratos, Eleni Spyratos, and Nickos Spyratos. She is also survived by her siblings Mathew Orr, Shannon Hess and partner Duane Kephart, and her brother-in-law Jimmy (Wendy) Spyratos, Tina also leaves behind her father-in-law Spyros Spyratos, and many nieces, Nephews and extended family members.

Tina attended Oxford Academy and Central Schools. She married Jerry “Dut” Spyratos on May 18, 2001, and they had three beautiful children together who she devoted her life to. Whether it would be a stream, lake, or pool she loved being around water and in the sun. Tina loved going to their family camp at sandy pond every summer. It’s at sandy pond where she would spend many consecutive weekends with family and friends boating, fishing, and swimming at the beach. Tina loved all animals, especially her dogs, but she loved being a mom most of all. Although racing and extreme sports were not her own passions, they were deeply cherished by her husband and, later, by her children. Even though Tina openly showed concern when the dangers brought injuries to the ones she loved most, she continued to support her family’s passion and was the first one to smile and loudest to cheer when they won.

Tina was the biggest supporter of her children and their friends. She always showed unlimited love and hospitality to all of Spyros, Eleni and Nickos’s friends growing up. She was always doing what the kids wanted to do and was willing to go above and beyond if it meant her children and their friends were entertained.
