Sheila was saddened in life that she was unable to have her own children, however she was “mother” to all her nieces and nephews. She loved taking care of them all and was usually one of the first to arrive at the hospital when a new baby was born. Aunt Sheila was always a huge part of their lives, and we will all miss her greatly.
Sheila was a Great cook and will always be remembered for her famous rice pudding and meatloaf and broccoli salad (one with onions and one without for those who didn’t like onions!) She always made everyone feel special.
Sheila worked many years as a cook at the Corner Restaurant in Greene, NY, prior to her employment in the kitchen at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford, NY up until her retirement. Sheila attended a one room schoolhouse in Coventry, NY When she first started school. She later graduated from Oxford Academy and Central Schools in 1963.
Heaven gained a special soul. She is now free to live in Gods Glory.
