Robert w. ingraham

Robert W. Ingraham, 94 of Raleigh, NC and most recently of Greene passed away on July 15, 2012 at the NYS Veterans Home, Oxford.
He is survived by his children, Suzanne (Bob) Alger, William (Judy) Ingraham, Tom (Donna) Ingraham and Robert Ingraham, Jr.; his grandchildren, Robert (Lynne) Alger, Bill (Shawna) Ingraham, Steve (Dedra) Ingraham, Ava M. Ingraham, Michele (Jasen) Bassett, Michael Ingraham and Wendy (Rob) Tefft; his great grandchildren, Christopher Alger, Aaron Alger, Alicia Alger, Allison Ingraham, Mackenzie Ingraham, Justin Ekstrom, Collin Bassett and Lindsey Tefft. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Bob was a graduate of Greene Central School. He served in the US Army of World War II, having served under General George Patton at the Battle of the Bulge. He as a former prisoner of war and received the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Purple Heart Society and the Disabled American Veterans. He was an engineer for IBM for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and most especially loved to play golf.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford, NY.
