Robert L. Frank, 85 of Oxford, NY passed away on August 1, 2020 at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich, NY. He was born on June 4, 1935 in Bainbridge, NY a son of the late Clifford and Loretta (Mertz) Frank. On August 5, 1961 he married Ronnie Lewis, who survives.
Beside his wife, Ronnie, he is survived by his children, Robert Frank, Jr., of Oxford, Daryl Frank of Canastota, Tim and Elaine Frank of Oxford, and Craig and Carol Frank of Oxford; his brother and sister in law, Clifford and Elaine (Amoroso) Frank of Kissimmee, FL; sister, Carolyn Broderick of Rochester, and his sister in law, Sharon Frank of Norwich. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Timisha, TJ, Marlena, Kodi, Kristina, Jessica and Brianna and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Daphney, Brock, Brody, Baylor, and Braylee. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by his brothers, Richard, Vincent and Thomas and his granddaughter, Amanda and great granddaughter, Amara.
Bob was a graduate of Oxford Academy and Central School. He grew up on the family farm and took it over from his father and operated it for many years. He served on the board for the Coventry Milk Co-op. He had worked at Amphenol and was a manager at Raymond Corporation for many years. He served the Town of Oxford on the board of assessment review for many years. The family would like to thank Adam Ryan for spending many hours on the porch with Bob. Also, a thank you to the Hospice of Chenango County staff for their excellent care.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 11:30AM at St. Joseph's Church, State St., Oxford. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, Oxford on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing as required by New York State guidelines for Covid-19.
