Nathan Daniel Lashway

Nathan Daniel Lashway, 38, of Norwich, NY passed away on September 24, 2026. Nate was born in Johnson City, NY. He was the son of Robert Lashway and Bobbi Jo Brewer. Nate was predeceased by his father and by his uncle Thomas Brewer and grandfather Stephen Brewer.

Nate is survived by his mother Bobbi Jo and companion Patrick Call, and by his sister Stephanie and Dakota Johnson. He also leaves behind his nephew Coen Johnson, his grandparents Herbert and Theresa Lashway and Yvonne Brewer and his aunts and uncles Stanley Brewer and JoAnne Parkhurst, Diane and Francis Wadsworth, Abe Brewer, James and Donna Lashway and Paul Lashway and Lisa Redenback. Also surviving Nate are many cousins and extended family members and his beloved dog Travis.

Nate was one of a kind. He had a heart of gold and a contagious smile. He made it a point to live his life on the edge. He loved riding his motorcycle, often taking rides with no destination in mind just to simply enjoy the winding roads and wind in his face. He was a huge Buffalo Bills fan and adored his dog, Travis. Nate was a hardworking man and a kind soul. He enjoyed working for S&S Appliances in Norwich, NY. Nate was always willing to help those around him and would always go the extra mile for those he loved.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc. 21 Main Street, Oxford, NY 13830. Family will hold a private graveside ceremony in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. All are welcome to join Nate’s family at Norwich Elks Lodge, 14 East Main Street, Norwich, NY 13815, on Sunday, October 18, 2026, for a benefit in Nathan’s memory and a memorial bike ride. Registration for the memorial ride starts at 9:30AM and kicks stands up at 10:30AM, the memorial benefit will begin at 12:00PM.
