Michael p. stazo

Michael P. Stazo, Sr., 65 of New Berlin, NY formerly of Middlesex, NJ passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2014 at his home. He was born on May 31, 1949 in Somerville, NJ a son of the late Charles and Adolphia (Brill) Stazo.
He is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Michael and Cindy Stazo, II. of Brisben, Charles and Kimberly Stazo and Adam and Jessica Conway Stazo all of New Jersey; his step children, Anthony Marconi of Brisben and Paul Marconi of Vestal; his former wife, Susan Wells and his former sister in law, Cindy Shipley, both of Vestal and his sister, Joanne Grimm of Florida. He is also survived by his special cat, Peaches.
Mike was a graduate of Middlesex High School and was a US Navy veteran of the Viet Nam War. He worked for many years at Captive Plastics in New Jersey before moving to Norwich and driving for First Transit. He was a former member of the Middlesex Borough Rescue Squad. He loved trains and his motorcycles.
At his request services will be held for the family in Bound Brook Cemetery, Bound Brook, NJ.
