It gave her so much joy to take care of and nourish the ones she loved almost as if she poured her love into every dish she made. You never came to her home and left with an empty stomach. She would often be caught dancing while cooking and cleaning. JoAnn was a kind and generous soul. She treated everyone the same no matter who they were or where they came from or what they had, she never turned anyone away. Family was the most important thing to JoAnn; she loved spending time laughing and joking with her family and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. JoAnn was deeply religious and found peace in her faith. She loved the Kansas City Chiefs and watching football on TV, she also loved to read and play board games. JoAnn’s smile could make the darkest times seem so bright, she was a lady and full of grace and very proud of her Irish heritage.
