Joan griffith

Joan "Pietsy" Carol Griffith, 84 of Greene NY passed away at home on November 26th, 2021. Joan was born in Newark NJ, daughter of the late John Mulcahy and Anna Reese Mulcahy in July 1937. Joan predeceased by the love of her life John (Jack) Griffith whom she was married to for over 30 years. She was also predeceased by her sisters Barbara, Marilyn "Joyce", and Lois.
Joan is survived by her sister Diona "DeDe" and (Fred) Williamson. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Robert Griffith, her niece, Mary Ann Merlo, and her nephew John Destephanis. Joan is also survived by her adoptive family who loved her dearly.
During her life Joan was a Girl Scout Leader, and she worked as a paralegal as well as a paramedic for many years. She was captain of the Rescue Squad of NJ for over 25 years and was Secretary Treasurer for the NYSPPA. Joan was also very proud to have received a Blue Badge Award.
