Jennie joy ryan

Jennie Joy Ryan, 68, of Oxford NY, passed away on November 2, 2019. She was born on December 19, 1950 at Great Lakes Naval Station, in Great Lakes IL, to Willis and Hallie (Damry) Moffett. Wife of the late Dennis E. Ryan of Oxford, she is survived by her two children, Adam Ryan and wife Jennifer of Oxford, and Rebecca (Ryan) Denkers and her husband Adriaan of Oxford; along with her four grandchildren Richard, Hannah, and Elizabeth Ryan, and Fitzy Denkers. She is survived by two brothers, Ed Moffett and wife Leila of Mt. Pocono, PA, and Barry Moffet and partner Al Leining of Altamonte Springs, FL, as well as her three sisters-in-law, Kathleen Baldwin, Susan Ryan and Teresa Borchardt.
A devoted mother, and grandmother, and full of abundant love for her family, Jennie loved spending her time with her children and grandchildren. As a 20 year veteran of the Oxford Academy School District, Jennie was well known and well-loved in the community. Always seeing the good in others, and having one of the kindest, funniest, most understanding, empathetic and sincere souls you'd ever meet, Jennie touched the lives of everyone she came to know. There was no end to her compassion, or to her finding the best in any hard or difficult situation. Somehow, simply having Jennie Joy as a part of your life made the world a brighter place. She will be missed by all who were touched by her kindness and beauty.

Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Immediate burial in Riverview Cemetery, Oxford, will follow.
