Geraldine e. 'gerry' buskey

Geraldine "Geri" Buskey, 76 of Pitcher, NY passed away on January 25, 2020 at Crouse Irving Hospital, Syracuse. She was born on January 26,1943 in Syracuse a daughter of the late William and Marjorie (LaMondia) Hassett.
She is survived by her husband, George Buskey; her children, Cheryl (Robert) Lee of Graham, NC, Marge (Jeff) Holt of Syracuse, NY and Thomas Mott of Bar Harbor, ME; her grandchildren, Owen Davis, and Kevin Davis of Norfolk, VA, Elizabeth Parriman of Haw River, NC, and Courtney Holt of Syracuse, NY; and her great grandchild, Emory Parriman. She is also survived by her siblings, Michael Hassett, Nancy Radley, Paul (Carol) Hassett, Linda Togias, Colleen Bratek, Kathy Gembarowicz, William (Bill) Hassett, Tim Hassett, and Charles Hassett.
She graduated from Syracuse Central Technical High School. She had worked for Acme Markets, Green Hills Markets and the Cubby Hole Tavern. She raised sheep, operated a greenhouse for several years and was a skilled seamstress. She also worked painting and wallpapering.
Funeral services will be held on February 8, 2020 at 12:00 PM at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford, NY. Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
