George m. ballard

George "GM" Ballard, III passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2014. He was born on December 18, 1979 in Norwich a son of George M. Ballard, Jr. and Debra Rickard Ballard.
He is survived by his son, Landen Ballard; his daughter, Addilyn Ballard; his mother, Debra Jean Rickard; his father, George Ballard, Jr. and companion, Nancy Button; his brother and sisters, Jeania M. Ballard and fiancé, Rollins Crane, Bobbi and Chad Rifenburg, Christina and James Tyner, Bernice Ballard and fiancé, Robert Figgs, and Mason D. Ballard and fiancé, Brandy Fink. He was predeceased by his grandparents, George Ballard, Sr., Mary Ballard, William Rickard, and Bernice Rickard. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
GM was a graduate of Oxford Academy and Central School. He loved hunting, fishing, and farming. He was known as a thrill seeker. He enjoyed hunting snakes. He was living at the Stratton Farm in Oxford.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 8:00 PM at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford with Rev. Jeremy Stopford officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Oxford.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until the time of the service.
