George germano

d. October 18, 2018

George Germano, 76, passed away in the early hours of October 18, 2018 with his loving family and friends by his side. George resided at the Route 220 home in Oxford for the past several years; and prior to that, had lived with both Neva Maxson and Daralynn Campbell for many years; both of whom survive. George was predeceased by his great friend, Susan Nelson, and care giver, Steve Campbell, who await him in Heaven. He was also predeceased by too many wonderful friends that he had made throughout his years residing in New Berlin, Norwich and Oxford. George never met a stranger.
George is survived by many, many friends and staff members at the Achieve Day Habilitation Program site, CWS Workshop and Broome DDSO offices in Norwich as well as the loving staff and comrades at home in Oxford. George was a happy man who enjoyed the Yankees, old Westerns, Gene Autry, hamburgers, coffee and banana splits. He loved to go out to eat, for coffee, shopping and haircuts. George's absence will be felt widely and for many years to come. We will miss you George. Rest in heaven and we will catch up with you later.
Funeral Services will be held at the Behe Funeral Home in Oxford, NY on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11:00am. Viewing will begin at 10:00am until the time of service.
