Elsie Congdon

Elsie Potter Congdon died March 4, 2023 at Chase Nursing Home, New Berlin, NY.  She was predeceased by:  her husband, Robert D. Congdon; her parents, Howard and Christine Potter; her siblings and their spouses, Elton & Virginia Beckwith, Robert & Winifred Lobdell, Harold & Katherine Leach, George Potter Sr., Ruth (Paden) Potter, and Kenneth Sr. & Doris (Cady) Potter; her nephews, Ronald Beckwith, Larry Beckwith, Gregory Lobdell & John Potter; her grand nephews John Lobdell & Scott Mushock; and her grand nieces, Stacey Beckwith & Mary Leach.  She is survived by: several nieces, nephews and their families.  Elsie's surviving family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff and caregivers at Chase Nursing home in New Berlin, NY for the care she received.  At Elsie’s request, memorial services will be at the convenience of her remaining family with burial at McDonough Union Cemetery.  Memorial donations to the charity of one's choice.

A Memorial Service for Elsie is scheduled for Sunday, August 20^th, 2023.  Friends and family may begin arriving at Behe Funeral Home, Inc. located at 21 Main Street, Oxford, NY beginning at 3:00PM.  The funeral service will be at 4:00PM followed by a burial service at the McDonough Union Cemetery.  Friends and family may share memories and condolences by visiting www.behefuneralhome.com.
