Eda Baier, 90 of Oxford passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Residential Health Care Facility at Chenango Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 11, 1924 in Norwich to the late Lynn and Eva (Wells) Nichols. On December 31, 1942 she married Jack Baier, who passed away on July 4, 1992.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, John and Ann Baier of Oxford; her grandchildren, Christopher and Kelly Curnalia, Julie and Max Tollens, Cale Baier, Aaron and Maria Baier, Stephen and Andrea Weissflog, and Judy and Nick Warner; her great grandchildren, Michael, Joey, Owen, Leslie, Darwin, Landon, Gabriel and Jacob, and her sister in law, Evelyn Baier of Elmira and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sue Curnalia, her brothers, Arthur, Hank (Francis), Donald and Julian and her sister Ellie Hardy.
Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, a memorial service with Leon Barrows officiating will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Oxford.
