David Gerald Ross
David Gerald Ross, 65, of Bradenton, FL passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021. David was born on May 21, 1956, in Oxford, NY to Gerald M. and Jane M. (Cook) Ross.
He was a volunteer Firefighter for the Oxford Fire Department. After graduating from Oxford Academy High School, he moved to Syracuse, NY to attend Simmons Institute of Funeral Service. In 1993, he moved his family to North Carolina to continue his career as a Licensed Funeral Director. While in NC he began his business, TradeMasters, providing support to funeral homes in central NC. He then retired in Bradenton, FL.
He is survived in Oxford, NY by his Mother Jane Ross, his brothers Ken Ross & Jim Ross, and nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
In NC, he is survived by his 4 children: Jessica, Ashley, Justin, & Adam. Also, 10 grandchildren Sean, Summer, Kaitlyn, Breydin, Chloe, Abby, Zachary, Blake, Tyler, & Asher.
He will be missed dearly by all the family, friends, & colleagues that knew and loved him.
Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford on Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rich Howard officiating.
