Craig R. Godwin

Craig R. Godwin, of Oxford, NY, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on March 17, 2026. Craig was born in Rockville Center, NY on June 2, 1950. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Jane (Matthews) Godwin. Craig was predeceased by his parents and by his daughter Danielle Godwin and siblings Benjamin Godwin, Lance Godwin, and Joanna McGlynn.

Craig was survived by his loving wife Donna Godwin, and by their children Craig (Julie) Godwin and Lauren (Jeff) Roberts. He is also survived by his grandchildren Laurel, Rebecca, Haley, Craig, Ethan, Mason, Chaz, Jase, and Ava and by great grandchild Carter. Craig also leaves behind his sister Marijane (Peter) Carasiti, and his nieces Melissa, Nichole and Danea. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Craig was an outdoorsman at heart. It started with his love of the ocean and fishing and later in life evolved to his love of the mountains that he called home. Craig was immensely proud of the home he built with his wife. The log cabin on the hill brought years of happiness to their family.
