Carol margaret deforest

Carol M. Deforest, 79, passed away on June 13, 2022. Carol was born in Gloversville, NY, Daughter of Waldo Abbey and Helen Silvers.
Carol is survived by her loving family including her daughter Betty J, Alford and husband Gary. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ryan and wife Calla Alford, and Mason Alford. Also surviving Carol are her great grandchildren Dahlia Alford and Rhys Alford.
Carol was an Oxford Academy Graduate in 1961, she was a devoted employee to the Norwich Shoe Co. for over 20 years. After her retirement Carol worked a part time job at the Turning Stone Casino where she loved to play bingo in her free time. Carol had a great passion for horse racing that she would indulge in at the Vernon Downs Race Track, she also loved to travel with her friends and family. Carol will be missed dearly by all those who knew her.
