Barbara J. Ingraham

Barbara J. Ingraham, 81, of Oxford, NY. Passed away on Tuesday June 9, 2026. She was born in Norwich, NY, daughter of the late LeRoy Hunter and Barbara (Irving) Hunter. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, by her husband Robert Ingraham Sr, and her son Robert “Bobby” Ingraham Jr. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter Megan Ingraham, and her brother John Bakoon.

Barbara is survived by seven children, twenty-one grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Her children, Shane and Melissa Ingraham, Donald and Tammy Ingraham, and Wade and Jackie Ingraham. Her grandchildren, Dylan Ingraham (Colleen Gaffney), Jacob and McKenzie Ingraham, Cheyanne Ingraham (Brandon Erario), Elizabeth Ingraham, and Edward Ingraham. Barbara also leaves behind her siblings Bonnie Davis, William Hunter, and Daphne Burdick, and her great grandchildren Jaxson, Everett, Brookes, and Parker. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.

Barbara was an Auxiliary Member of the Oxford American Legion Post # 376. She enjoyed going to the YMCA, reading, and working on puzzles. Barbara loved spending time sitting outside on her porch, and watching the birds, especially the hummingbirds, but most of all, Barbara loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc. 21 Main Street, Oxford, NY. A celebration of life for Barbara will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the family home, 106 Bowman Creek Road, Oxford, NY 13830 at 2:00PM.
